LANGHE AND ROERO'S LANDS

Bra is located in the heart of Piedmont and it is surrounded by fields, vineyards and beautiful towns.

You could ride a bike or have a walk to explore the area or visit some nearby cities like Alba, Barolo or Cherasco.

You will reach the fascinating city center in just a 5-minute walk. Here you can stroll through narrow streets bordered by historical buildings. You can also visit the City Hall and many churches of different periods. You will also find many coffee shops where you can stop for a drink or a snack.

Every two years, in September, our town hosts the Cheese event. It is one of the most important fairs in Italy where cheese producers come from all over the world bringing their flavours in our town.
Cheese is also the most important local event to promote the local cheese production, where you can learn about the history and try our famous “Bra duro” and “Bra tenero”.
During the fair there are many gastronomic stands, live music and entertainment.

Bra is the place of birth of the “Slow Food” movement. It promotes sustainable food production. It is possible to visit the Slow Food site where there is a library and the  Boccondivino restaurant. Here you can eat local and seasonal food allowing you to taste the flavours of Langhe and Roero land.
