What data we receive

The site does not collect or store any data. The enquiry form opens the visitor's email program: we only receive the data you send us by email or phone (name, email, stay dates, number of guests, message).

Why we use it

To answer availability enquiries and manage your booking and stay (Art. 6.1.b GDPR), and to meet legal obligations such as registering guests with the police authorities (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for 15 days and then deleted. If your enquiry becomes a booking, the data needed for your stay is kept for the period required by law.

Who we share it with

Data is never sold or passed on. Emails go through the Gmail service (Google). If you book via Booking.com or Airbnb, their privacy policies also apply.

Cookies and external services

The site only uses necessary technical data (to remember your cookie choice). The map (OpenStreetMap) and Instagram posts (Meta) come from external services that may use cookies: we show them only after your consent. The site's fonts are loaded from the site itself.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, by writing to canalis.simona@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
