The Langhe and Roero

Rolling vineyards, hilltop villages and world-famous food and wine — a UNESCO World Heritage landscape in Piedmont, northern Italy.

Bra: a small town, endless experiences

Set in the Roero, Bra lies in the heart of Piedmont, surrounded by beautiful countryside, vineyards and charming towns. Explore by bike or on foot, or visit nearby Alba, Barolo or Cherasco.

A 10-minute walk takes you to the lovely historic center, with narrow streets lined with old palazzi, the town hall and churches from every era — plus plenty of cafés for an espresso or an aperitivo.

Every other September, the town hosts Cheese, one of the largest cheese festivals in the world, with producers from every continent, food stalls, music and entertainment.

Bra is also the birthplace of the Slow Food movement, which promotes good, clean and fair food. Nearby Pollenzo is home to the University of Gastronomic Sciences.
